Spaarows is a new project from songwriter/composer/producer Aaron Mirman-Heslin. Collaborating with other artists to make unique songs and sounds for the screen has always been a passion. He got his start at duotone audio group, a boutique music production company, where he had the opportunity to work with some amazing artists, helping bring their musical talents to visual media. Writing and/or music production credits include projects with: The Flaming Lips, Tegan and Sara, Lin-Manuel Miranda, Chromeo, Hilary Duff, Prince Royce, Lights, Christina Milian, and Yelle.

Now he embarks on a new series of hooky collusions with a wide range of artists. Recent song syncs for advertising have featured Nina Z, Samira Gibson, and Boots Ottestad.

Mirman-Heslin’s film credits include scores for The Discoverers (starring Griffin Dunne, Cara Buono, Madeleine Martin, directed by Justin Schwarz), Friends and Romans (starring Michael Rispoli, Annabella Sciorra, Tony Sirico, directed by Chris Kublan), and the feature documentary The Greenhorns. He is also a regular songwriter for a variety of shows on Nick Jr.

Mirman-Heslin makes up one third of the band The Broken Crowns (published by Kobalt Music Group), whose songs have been featured in I Feel Pretty (Amy Schumer), Royal Pains (USA), and national ad campaigns.
